This is a short platformer which is my entry for the first My Little Game Jam, created in 48 hours. The theme was chaos, which is reflected in the game's audiovisual peculiarities.
This game was not designed to use technology that allows in-browser play, so that is not a straightforward operation. It is possible, but would cost me somewhere around 16 manhours. It is not something I'm aiming to do for this project, sorry. Also, for your information, all in-browser games, including Flash games and HTML5, are in fact downloaded either into your computer's RAM, or more commonly, a temporary folder.
It's possible, but I have to know more. First off, does it just stall or does it crash with an error message? If there is any type of message then I need to know what it says. If there's one or more files called hs_err_pid#.log(where # is a number) in the folder then I also need either one of these.
I crashes with the error message, and it says "the loader image in.png was missing. Please make sure you extracted the archive to your disk before running the game. Exiting game."
As far as I know that only happens when you haven't extracted the files from the zip archive. You can't run the game without doing that first.
On a Windows system you do this by opening the zip file and dragging the files inside to a folder on your hard drive, such as the documents or the desktop, like so: [click for image]. Then you run the game from the place where you extracted the files (and not from the zip file).
A lot of indie games and freeware applications require you to do this in order to function properly, so take the experience with you.
Well played, Fluttershy, well played.
