Sulphur Nimbus is a female hippogriff with a cream coloured coat. Her beak is bare, as is her front legs from the humerus down, and they reveal a dark gray skin. Her head flaunts a crest consisting of 3 large, oddly shaped feathers with cyan tips. She has a tricoloured tail, with yellow, magenta and cyan stripes. Her eyes are green, with bluish shadows and yellowish highlights.

Her beak is relatively large and features mammalian rows of teeth. She has three toes on each of her front legs, including one smaller hind toe. She sports a strong pair of feathered wings. Her hindquarters are fundamentally equine, with hooves on her hind legs. She has six spots on each of her flanks, coloured slightly darker than the rest of her coat.

She "borrows" some pieces of armour, made from a purple tinted aluminium alloy with golden rims and chrome rivets. The chestpiece features a black gemstone.

She has a strong desire to be liked, but her strange appearance and short temper gives her a bit of trouble getting along with others. She gravitates towards off-beat characters, and she often makes herself out to be more confident and cool than she really is. She likes to maintain an impressive set of skills and she doesn't shy away from showing off when the opportunity arises.
